Dear friend
If you have anything to recommend for what to do in Copenhagen next week, you can submit a recommendation until tomorrow, Monday, at 11 AM and we’ll include it in the next edition of Wildflowers Club. Maybe you have a suggestion for where to celebrate May 1st?
With care
Søren & Kristoffer
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why are you writing in English?
In order to make this project as inclusive as possible, we have decided to make English the lingua franca of Wildflowers Club. In this way, it’ll be easier for the many non-Danish speaking people in Copenhagen to connect with the local scene. You are still more than welcome to recommend activities in Danish, we’ll find a way to add a symbol showing our foreign readers and contributors that your recommendation requires Danish language skills.
What can I recommend?
Anything! From book releases and public lectures to knitting classes and fermentation courses. And while there is no cap on how many activities you can submit, we challenge you to pick one, max two, as we strive to collect a bouquet of pure favorites rather than a comprehensive list of everything happening. We’d also like to remind you that it is always more flattering to praise others than yourself.
Remind me, how does this work?
Every Sunday, we send you this email asking what you are looking forward to in the coming week. By clicking on the link in the introduction, you reach a form where you can submit your recommendation in less than two minutes. The deadline for submission is Monday 11:00 AM. We assemble all activities and send you a free newsletter on Monday at 12:30 PM to enjoy each other’s recommendations.
Is it possible to receive recommendations without contributing?
Yes, of course. While you are welcome to submit recommendations every week, we don’t expect you to do so. So whenever you have something to recommend, you can do it, whether that is once a week, month, season or year. If you, for whatever reason, would like not to contribute but still want to receive the weekly bouquet of recommendations, please write to us at hi@wildflowers.club and we’ll update your information in our database.
How do I invite my friends?
While we still don’t have any public sign-up form on our website, we have made a hidden one for you to invite your friends. The first 100 members were invited by us personally. To break out of our own filter bubbles, we’d love for the next humans to be invited by you.
Okay, when do you make our club public?
Soon. We are humbled by all the unsolicited appreciation for the project you share with us – and by the extraordinarily high open and click rates. Right now, while time does its magic of strengthening the roots of the project, we are working on the fine details of the Monday newsletter. If the project continues to grow at the current pace, we expect to make Wildflowers Club public in early May.
