Dear friend

Do you remember us? We used to send weekly emails with things to do in Copenhagen, recommended by people like yourself. But then one summer, we didn’t return from our break. We stayed in hiatus. Life, work, and relocations came in the way. You could say we ran out of volunteer energy. Maybe that is okay? Not every president deserves to get re-elected. The same is true for projects: many need to decay for new things to bloom.

Yet, we believe a local, community-driven way to find, share, and celebrate cultural activities in Copenhagen is more relevant today than when we started Wildflowers.club. Culture is too important to leave in the hands of monolithic technology platforms with arbitrary algorithms and morally depraved leaders.

That’s why we are writing, to ask: if and how we can bring back Wildflowers.club?

* IDEAS *

  • We find a person with time to spare to take on the lead for a season or more. Approx. 2-4 hours per week.
  • We find a sponsor who allows us to compensate a student for the task. Approx. 2.000-3.000 DKK per month.
  • We find an organisation/collective building local alternatives to global tech tools. Maybe a cooperative?

… or maybe you have another idea? In any case, our inbox is open, and we would love to talk.

With care
Søren, Mads & Kristoffer
